    Hey Lewis,

I loved your travelogue - loved the concept and the way you've extrapolated its concept from 'Futurama' - a utopian dystopia or dystopian utopia. In a previous comment, I suggested I wanted to see you move away from a style that is in danger of dominating your ability to produce different sorts of work. However, I am absolutely prepared to concede that there is a clear affinity between your artist, your concept and your graphical approach - and it would be perverse and counter-intuitive to insist on tying your right hand behind your back! The caution still stands in general terms (don't get stuck, Lewis!), but your thumbnails are very striking and they sit comfortably with Geddes and the aesthetic of industrial design. I think you need to ensure however that the allure and glamour of modernity and the city is also conveyed - however 'fake' it ultimately appears to be. I still remember the first time I saw the Chrysler Building for the first time, and was wowed at just how glamorous and staggeringly beautiful it was!

I look forward to seeing how you now seek to get your concept to 'fit' inside one render of one digital set; there is after all, a necessary 'faking' going on in terms of the brief itself (matte painting to extend the vista), so this is going to be a challenge. I look forward to seeing you take it on.

There is another artist who might inspire you in terms of epic architecture: Hugh Ferriss
